We recognise the value of personality, character, lived experience, connection and potential. We believe that authentic voices resonate deeply, and that everyone has experiences, perspectives and talents that can inspire, educate and connect with others.
Many talented young people never reach their potential because access to opportunities is not always equal. Financial circumstances, limited networks, unequal access to extracurricular activities and industry connections can all influence who gets noticed and who gets left behind.
Shapers believes that potential should not be determined by circumstance. While we cannot support every young person directly, we work intensively with a smaller group of participants, helping them develop the confidence, skills, experiences and professional connections needed to access opportunities and build successful futures. At the same time, we use our voice to advocate for greater access, fairness and opportunity across the industries and communities we engage with
